    RSP 1098 standby button

    Hi,
I just recived my RSP 1098 and I have a question:
My standby button on the front is a little "loose" it doesn't feel like the power button on the RB-1090 power amplifier, is this normal ?

    Best regards

Mine feels a little "wobbly" as well. It definitely is not as stiff or positive in its clicking on/off as my amps power buttons, but I don't think there is anything wrong with it. If I remember correctly, my 1066 power button felt similar.

Same here. It's nothing to worry about, though.

The button does seem somewhat loose, but everything functions as it should, therefore at this point I have no issues.

          Regards,

            Thanks for all the help!

Does every RSP 1098 owner has the same "type" of button maybe?

            Reply Guys!

A couple of simple RSP-1098 Setup Questions
              by whmacs
              Hi All,
In preperation for my RSP-1098 arriving next week, I was reading the manual and have a couple of basic setup questions:

              1. I currently use a 12v trigger on my Onkyo to turn on power to my two Rotel power amps. This happens when I power on the Onkyo from Standby mode. Looking...

              Random shutdowns of RSP-1098 / RVE-1060
              by dmcgowan
My RSP-1098 has just started shutting down at random and before I unplug the thing and send it in for service, wondered if anyone had any useful hints?

              - Regardless of source, the RSP-1098 randomly shuts down and goes to standby after anything from 30 seconds to 30 minutes of use

              Hi,
This is my attempt at a V2.0 Wish list of enhancements for the Rotel RSP 1098

This updated list is based on feedback on the V1.0 list published in a separate thread within this forum and a second consolidated view of all the other threads I can find in this and several other...

              RSP-1098 and RMB-1095 questions
              by thunderstorm77
              Good morning!

I finally got my RSP-1098 and RMB-1095, I must say I couldn't be more satisfied. A huge step up in sound quality, especially stereo, which is awesome considering it's a surround system. I use a high-end HTPC for all audio and video sources, and use the TV-out on the graphics...

Strange RSP 1098 problem - remote related?
              by JudgeBaxter
              Hi guys,

Just a quick ask before I box it all up and ship it back, to see if this has happened to anyone else before.

My RSP-1098 has been working fine out of the box. It's only a few months old (maybe 4 at most), so is onlt just about run in....

              I only sit...
