If you are looking for the best analog sound in 2 channel. I would most highly reccomend the Rotel RCD-1072. It is pretty much the best thing out there under $3000. The 3910 does a fair job with analog but i bought it soley for it's DVD capability and perhaps the SACD when i can get a library together.
The best analog sound in 2 channel I've heard lately comes from the Marantz DV9500. Marantz puts a lot of empasis in the 2 channel performance of their machines.

1st runner up is my Denon 2900.

You really feel that your marantz dvd player out-performs Rotel's RCD-1072 dedicated cd player?? Just want to make sure what you are comparing it to?

Hello fellow AVSforumners. I am in a dilemma and I need your expertise. I am torn between these four players and I cannot make up my mind. I just want to make the right decision. All these players I can probably get for about the same price. I just found the Pioneer 47ai for $550 and I think it is a...

What are the main differences between the denon dvd 2900 and dvd 2200? I recently compared the Rotel rdv 1050 and denon 2910. But from what I have read most of you feel the 2900 is the best option. I already have a Rotel rsx-1056 and rb-1080 and rb991. I looking for a good dvd player for movies and...

I´m having a VERY annoing problem using the RDV1050 DVD. -Whenever I (or my neighbour for that matter) switch the light on/off in my/his apartment (or my refrigiator turns on/off), the sound dissapear shortly, as if the RDV1050 loses sync (Via coax) to the RSP1068... it does not affect the picture...

Denon 2910 problems reading photo CD
                by Kirby
I have a Denon 2910 here for trail and so far I am no very impressed. I have photo cd's that will paly on a Cambridge Audio 540D and my cheap Toshiba but the 2910 will not read them. As a matter of fact the 2910 will actually freeze and I have to turn of the main power switch to get it working again....

I'm wondering if anyone has a Denon avr-2800,
can you take 4 of the 5 channels and bi-amp a speaker with it (2 channels to each speaker, 1 will be left over)

My second question is regarding upgrades. On the brochure it says I can add a separate amplifier...does this amp need to...
