    Lexicon MC1 or Rotel 1068?

    Hello everyone,
If you had to make a choice between these two processors which one would you choose? The lexicon MC1 (made in 1999 I believe and retailed for 6K) is used and I can pick it up for about the same price as a new Rotel 1068. Which one and why?

    Thanks,

    Michael :E

That would depend upon what upgrades have been completed on the MC1 and whether I had 7.1 or not..

Rotel 1068 Initial impressions vs. Lexicon DC-1

      Hello everyone,

I just hooked the 1068 up last Friday and probably have spent a good 10 hours with it so far. The unit I was coming from was a lexicon DC-1 (latest V4. 1999) that had the center channel and sub inputs blown so getting the center and sub back was refreshing. ...

      Hello everyone,

I just pulled the trigger on a Rotel 1068. Hopefully I will get better sound than what I'm used to. . The processor I am using now (Lexicon DC-1) originally came out in 1996 but I have the latest software upgrade (1999) for DTS and THX. I made the Rotel 1068...

      Hello everyone,
Last week was a sad day for my Lexicon DC-1 processor. I just lost the center channel and sub inputs and found out to repair the unit it is going to be close to $475 (includes shipping). I love the sound from the unit but hate to put that kind of money in a processor...

      Lexicon MC1 + Audiolab Amps
      by Lim
I am new here. I have read some very knowledgeable posters here and thought this is where I may get some help.

I recently bought a Lexicon MC1, then I found an Audiolab 8000M and three units of 8000P. My question is would these Amps work well with the MC1 and how should the set up be,...

Last week, I sold my MC1 and one of my Citation 5.1 amps. My 2nd 5.1 amp is going to a friend later this month. I am replacing this wonderful combo with: DC1 version 4.0, Rogue Magnum 66 tube preamp with HT unity gain bypass, Parasound 2200II 250x2 amp, and Parasound 1205A 140x5 amp. For just a couple...
