Has anyone heard that Rotel is coming out with a digital amp in the Fall of this year? There are a few posts in the B&W section of this forum that make that claim.

Do a search for RMB-1077 and you'll find plenty of info on that model. Basically its a 7 * 100 watt digital amp. -

RebelMan, I assume that's the 1077 at the top. So here's the big question: How does it sound? Have you ever owned one of the Rotel analog amps? If so, how does the 1077 compare and does it have the characteristic Rotel sound (which some describe as being detailed and a bit laid back)?Comment

May I assume the picture RebelMan posted is a 'promo picture', as the RMB-1077 is not up for sale yet. Questions about soundquality may be a bit premature...

I'm sticking to my beloved Rotel RB-1090/RC-1090 that is already at digital quality with all the advantages that will take digital arena quite some time
to reach (get right). :BComment
