I play my RCD-1072 using Bypass mode. I want to get the new RT-1084 and also play it in bypass mode. Is this an available option for me on my RSP-1098?

I looked at the manual again and it does appear to allow for bypass mode for the Tuner input. Cool. -
So long as you use the analog inputs (rca patch cords) you will have the "bypass" option, regardless of what you call it.Comment

I hook up my cable box to the tuner for the music only with analog cables and use the bypass mode also.____________________

Ekkoville, how does that sound vs using the DAC in your tuner? I would (just a guess) think that the DAC in the tuner is better than what's in your cable box?

Hi guys, has anyone else found that bypass mode on the 1068 processor creates too much bass.
Ok, perhaps its not actually creating the bass but it does allow too much bass thru, a lot of the time.
