Finally I join the family, I'm not loking in anymore.

    Today was a good day,

My Rotel gear came in and I had the pleasure of rewiring my gear. I sold my B&K to make room for my new Rotel seperates.

I bought the RSP1068 and the RMB1095. Damn the RMB1095 is heavy. It was difficult to get it out of the box. Those handles help but man...

    Congratulations Dan

It took you tooo damn long to make the switch from B&K. The 1095 would have been easier to manage if you were a bit younger!...lol

With my upgrade also came speaker upgrades.

So far here's how the system is shaping up

          Rotel RSP1068
          Rotel RMB1095
          Dynaudio Audience 82 mains
          Dynaudio Audience 42W rears
          Pioneer Ellite Dv47a dvd player
          Xbox
          Ps2
Comcast 6412 Hdtv Dual tuner DVR
          Mitsubishi HSU775 S-VCR
          Sony KP-46WT520 46" HDTV

I got rid of my laserdisk player as it doesn't see any playing time anymore. The Vcr also would go but the kids still have tapes and I have to keep it around.

I'm gonna finish off the speakers with a Dyanduio Audience 122C center channel with the center channel stand and a REL Storm III or 5 sub. I use my DVD player as a cd /sacd and dvd audio player. I'm considering the 1072 cd player. If I ever get my theater room built in the basement, then I will add a RB1080 and another pair of Dynaudio Audience 42W rears for surroundback.

Don't forget to set your delays and calibrate your speakers properly.

            Above all enjoy your setup.

              Thanks,
I calibrated it before I used it. I'm an Installer and it's a bad habbit of mine. LOL.Anyway The long break in period is here and I have about 12 hours on it so far. I plan on running it all weekend long.

Alittle update on how the system is doing and maybe a mini review...

The Rotel gear works excellent with the Dynaudio speakers. They now have about 25 hours on them. While no where near broken in, they are however bringing an emotional response when I sit and listen.

Loreena Mckinett is one of my choices to listen to a system. Her voice is so soft yeat very powerful. Her range is remarkable. Her tone is to die for like a angel personally singing to you. This morning I was driving the system nicely and found my heart stating to pump. I felt as if I wasn't listening to the system anymore and listening to Loreena sing to me. It was like she was in the room, looking deep into my eyes and sending me energy to my soul.

I can't wait until the system is complete and fully broken in. This is my dream system and I'm so happy to be living with it.

The road that takes you to where you wanna be is such a learning tool.

                  Dan

                        Dan,

Congrats on the purchase. New audio gear in very cool! I brought home my 1075 Thursday. So hows the 1095 so far....any buzz or hum like some have talked about here? Thanks for the tip on Loreena Mckinett. Is she on SACD or DVDA or regular old CD?

I am also very interested to hear if you get the hum/buzz problem as some Rotel owners have compained about.

I have the 1080 and 1095 and no buzz... I think a lot of people get it it from wiring that isn't great (be it in their system or in their house in general). Along with the infamous cable ground loop hum/buzz.

she is on cd, I wish she was on SACD. Pick up any cd and give her a spin.

                              pyroponic,
No hum/buzz she is dead silent. nothing when nothing is playing. It's brand new and I have upgraded powercords, and a deadicated outlet 20amps. I use very high quality wire/interconnects.

                              PewterTA,
Ditto, What happens I feel when it's not a bad amp is alot of guys have bad grounds or electrical problems. I see it alot in the field. the cable ground is huge not just with Rotel but any system. My house is 1 1/2 years old so ev erything is brand new. I also wired my own house and provided the ground. Something everyone should do is replace there house ground, clean up any nessary faulty wiring and buy high quality cables to run ones system.

I used to work in Willow Groove when I was in college. I worked for UPS.
I also used to work for Soundex, which is where I heard Rotel and Dynaudio for the first time.

They where a killer High end shop.

Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. I'm an Installer. You'll never see messy wire in my system. I take great pride in hiding everything. It takes me a few hours to wire my system the way I want it. I use the correct lengths. The speaker wires are hidden.

Nothing more I hate then a sloppy messy nice system.

and the other side. Wires are ran inside the wall. The go into my basment, then up the wall behind the gear to a wall plate. Again for a clean look
