1095 - all channels created equal?

I have a problem where I keep blowing the tweeter on my center channel. Im on my second tweeter and when I listen to it at loud volumes (90+db) I get a bad smell from the center tweeter. None of the others emit a bad smell and they are the same kind... Vifa.

I am trying something now by switching the center chennel on the amp with the right channel.

I know this amp has 2 internal power supplies.. I believe one for the fronts and one for the center and rears.

My question (finally) is... are all the channels the same? Is 200w/ch being delivered to all channels?

I would guess it's a bad crossover in your center speaker (a shorted cap allowing low frequencies to reach the tweeter), or the amp is clipping and causing the tweeter to overheat. Swapping channels will help isolate the cause.

AFAIK all the amps in the multichannel amps are the same. I think two are driven by one power supply and three by the other.
