I have no choice but to move this tweeter off center because I want a front port. Will this adversely affect the sound?

It depends....
Sorry, but that's the correct answer.... without knowing the crossover schematic, and whether diffraction issues caused by the tweeter's position were considered, it's impossible to know how much your change will affect the sound... there's not enough data to know what will happen to your design.
Then again, if you are not a perfectionist, then I suppose the correct answer would be "perhaps, but then again, maybe not".Javier Huerta- Bottom

What about putting the port in one of the lower corners? Would that permit you to center the tweeter?Kal Rubinson
