    Rotel 1060/1072 "Voiced Together"

I've read in many sites that the RA 1062 integrated amp and the 1072 CD player are built so they are in effect, a mated set. Provides dynamic range etc. My question, because I'd be using the 1060 as a pre, as a point of comparison, how do you think the RC 1090 (or 1070) pre performs with the 1072 vice the intregrated? Thanks, Dave.

    RCD-1072 and RA-1062 with RB-1080
    by Jamil
    Rotel fans,

I recently purchased RA-1062 to power my 2 channel setup consisting of Era Design 5 speakers. The audio source is RCD-1072. Although the setup is quite pleasing to the ears I get the feeling that having a little more oomph in the watt/channel section will really help the...

    RC-1070 - much/any better than using RA-1062 as pre-amp?
    by Rich Lukey
I'd had an RA-1062 integrated for a while when a very tidy RB-1070 popped up locally at a great price. My intention at point of buying was to put the RB-1070 on ebay for twice the price I'd paid (having a little hobby of buying and selling hifi). However, hooking it up the pre-outs of my RA-1062 for...

Preamp section of RA-1062 vs. RC-1070
    by Jamil
    Hello Rotel fans,

Can anyone comment on the difference between the preamp section of RA-1062 (Integrated amp) versus RC-1070 (stereo pre-amp). I would think the RC-1070 to be better in performance when mated with a standalone amp instead of using the pre-outs of the RA-1062 and hooking...

    RA-1062 vs. RC-1082/RB-1072
    by cug
    Hi.

Last year we bought a RA-1062 integrated amplifier after comparing it (blind A/B) to a RC-1070/RB-1072 combo. We heard no difference with the B&W 804S speakers.

We heard now, that this might have had two reasons:

    - listening volume was not so high...

    RA-1062 review - Hi-Fi Choice
    by simonb68
Hi-Fi Choice had a group test this month of integrated amps (£500-1700), including the RA-1062 (£595) - all in all they liked it a lot.

    Some quotes

'Nevertheless as part of its evolution from the RA-1060, exhaustive listening tests have apparently resulted in some 60-odd...
