    Just got set up

    hey, I just got my HT set up! I've decided on the Rotel 1098 for my pre/pro. mostly due to the fact that I like how it sounds.

    This is a great forum. It has already taught me how to upgrade the software from 2.1.2 to 2.1.3. Very easy. Not hitches.

                  Just out of curiousity and I might be wrong on this... But a new unit is still running v2 firmware? Sounds old for me, considering I got my 1098 back in beginning of Dec. running v3???
                  Digital Audio makes me Happy.

                      A lighter subject perhaps. :T

                      Bought my 802 a small year ago, when they were just out of the box, there was this very light perfume like the one you can smell in some high end hifi shops.

                      The smell lasted for a few weeks, was very noticeable when coming from outside....

                      It seems that every now and then the routing to the htguide server is lost.
                      From my home I cannot access htguide via my provider
                      I have a testnetwork at my work, wich does work (different provider)
