    Rotel 1055 spotted cheap.

    I should likely lead by example and not "cross post" but hey I get to bend the rules every now and then I'm just plugging the ad I have for my 1055 that's currently for sale here I've love to see it go to a Club Rotel member then some unknown person on Audiogon etc.

      Ok... [assumption alert!] considering the 1055 is the low power reciever with the same internals (pre /pro section) as the 1066 and has the tuner section and is cheaper than the 1066... what is the pitfall / logic to getting a 1055 instead of a 1066? I would be able to get a nice 200 watt two-channel...

      I'm interested in opinions on whether an RB993 would a good upgrade and suitable match for a 1055, with Dynaudio Contour 1.1 mains, and hopefully Contour or 122 centre speaker soon (currently an old Mordaunt Short thing, got it cheap).
