1056 crossover & no sub
I recently purchassed a 1056 and I do not have a sub yet in my setup, I was wondering if it is posible to redirect bass from my center and rear to my floor standing main (which I think will manage bass better)?

Yup just set everything but your mains to small and they'll get all the re-directed bass from the other channels :TJason -
As far I understand, the SUB may not be activated in the speaker settings, to let the specific 5.1 signal re-routed over the main speakers.
Am I right on this?
With other words: The SUB information which is the .1 part of a 5.1 stream is specifically for the .1 channels and is NOT send to the normal main, center or the surround speakers, unless you tell the system that there is no sub connected.Comment

I want to upgrade my sub woofer, and have an ASW-750 for my one set-up with 703's as the main speakers (have center channel but no surrounds). I like this sub as it seems to work well with both music and theater.

Setup so far- 1056 with B&W 704s for main, no sub, 1072 as CD source. I've been listening to the CD in the direct bypass mode.
