Hi guys I'm willing to buy a RCC-1055 for my system. I will just like to know if is a good match this equipment with a Yamaho RS-V2400 receiver.

    Willie,

I've pulled this out of the "Useful Links" thread where you had it - since no one will see it there.

I'm confused though - what is the RCC-1055?

The RCC-1055 is the best current 5-disc CD changer out there. I tried it in my system and would have kept it except I decided I wanted a changer with SACD capability. For redbook CDs, however, your can't go wrong. It's very well built and of so smoothe.

          Rotel RCC 1055 purchase question

I have been quoted, by the local audiophile Rotel dealer, a price of $549.99 for the Rotel RCC 1055 with a delivery date that would be two to six months in the future. Is this a good price and an acceptal waiting period, or is my money better spent on an alternative CD player?

Wait for it. Its a nice nice multi-disc player, and the delay is due to Rotel taking action and pulling production until they could find a more reliable mechanism. The defect rate was too high for the QA guys. Rotel is doing you a favor by making you wait on this one.

Just picked up a used RCC-1055 and I've got 2 questions:

When the carousel is open and I advance through the discs it's a bit jerky mechanically. Is this normal?

Secondly, is there an easy way to load all the codes for the RCC-1055 into the RR-1050, or do I really have...

              RCC-1055 question
              by miner
Does the Rotel RCC-1055 5 CD carousel offer no repeat shuffle for all 5 CDs? The spec sheet does not say. What other random modes are available. Thanks.

              Best DVD Carousel
              by Jeguzik
Can I get some advice on the best mid/hi-fi DVD carousel on the market or soon to be released item. I like high end, but I also enjoy the convenience of a carousel. I have been looking at the Sony NC555ES / Yamaha C750 / Denon 2815. If anyone could help with some insight, experience or reviews it...

              Rotel RCC-1055 vs. RCD-1070
              by Azeke
Has anyone heard both of these CD players. I have a chance to swap my RCD-1070 (black) for the RCC-1055 (silver to match the RSP-1066 & RMB-1095 both silver, multi-cd player). I've read the specs on each, the 1070 has greater separation and a slightly better freq. response (2Hz lower). The swap...
