choosing the multi inputs with the remote?

Is there a way to do this on the 1066 with a RR1050 remote? I can't find it for the life of me. Also, isn't the 1050 supposed to have a little flip panel under the slider?
    THANKS!

Yeah me too I had the newer remote with my RSX-1055...nice, but the RSX-1055 user's manual is made fot the older remote!...

I also tought that there was a little flip pannel under the slider...but it's not there...

as for the multi inputs, you mean for the SACD or DVD-A? I think that "V5" is pre-programmed for that...

    but I'm not sure since I don'thave (yet) a SACD/DVD-a player...

Just press the "EXT" button (top right) more than 2 seconds. This will switch to the multi-channel analogue inputs.

      Its in the manual btw

Scarp's right about the EXT button activating the multi, just as Multi Input does on the front of the unit itself. Would have made it easier if they simply labeled it Multi-Input on both.

I have the 969 remote and you just have to tap Ext In to switch the multi-channel on. You have to hold it down 2 seconds on the 1050?

The upper rows of the 1050 contains the buttons for the sources, however it doubles as selection of what the remote should do. As i recall the old remote had that uppper row just select what the remote should do and you had to open the flap to actually select the source on the equipment.

On the 1050 tap the button for a source once for selecting what the remote should do and keep it pressed for about 2 secs and the source on the 1055/1066 will change.
