    Packaging?

I'm going to send my Rotel RSP 1066 back to Rotel to have the firmware upgraded and the bass managment mod completed. I still have the orignal packaging and I think that will be the best to send it back in.......any ideas or suggestions? Also I was thinking UPS insured, sound right? Thanks!

That's the way it comes to the stores, so you should be fine.

My 1066 came from the dealer double boxed (white box inside of brown box) so I just shipped it back like that. I insured it for $1500 just to cover replacement should something happen.

BTW, turnaround time is a little less than one week. They got my unit last Thursday afternoon, performed the BM fix and updated the software, and shipped the unit back this afternoon (Wed). I should have it Friday, just in time for the weekend!!!

After seeing how mauled my packages sometimes arrive, I'd go with Bill's suggestion and double box it. I'd also buy the insurance.

            Paradigm Reference - V2 vs V3

I have some Paradigm Reference V2 stuff,

Just wondering if anyones compared or upgraded to the v3 stuff?

One reason for my Question is that my Center the Studio CC v2 is a little on the small side. The new Studio 570 v3 center is a little bigger, and has a midrange driver....

            Paradigm Reference Sub 12
            by NMG
            Hi folks,

Has anyone had the chance to audition the Paradigm Reference Sub 12? I'm considering it as a replacement for my Paradigm PW-2200 to be paired with my B&W 703's for 2 channel and HT duties. I suspect I'd keep the 2200 and run it as a secondary sub for HT as well.

1095 too much for Paradigm Studio 20?
            by Bill Blank
I've got a Rotel 1066/1075 combo and have been contemplating an upgrade in the amp department. I'd like the system to be a tad more effortless with music and more amplifier power is usually the solution. Thing is the 20's are only rated up to 150 watts. Now I know speaker power ratings aren't good for...

'Plug and Play' with Rotel and Paradigm?
            by D1 Meyer
I'm new to the forum and will soon be acquiring a new stereo system. Based on the reading I've done, and the friends I've talked to, I expect to base the system on a Rotel pre-amp (RC-1070 or RC-1090), a Rotel amp (RB-1070 or RB-1080), and Paradigm Reference Studio 20 speakers. Unfortunatley, we live...
