Disappointed with Rotel web site

Now days the Web site of any company is probably the only source of information available worldwide. There we go to be informed on important updates, new products releases, F.A.Q, etc.

Last month I bought a Rotel RCD-1070 CD player. Now I’m surprise with the announcement of a new model the RCD-1072, which I read on a British magazine. Obviously this model is an improvement of the previous model. For many months Rotel keeps notice on both new models RSP-1098 and RDV-1060, but nothing about RCD-1072. Thus, if I knew their intention to replace RCD-1070 I would probably buy the new RCD-1072, which obviously has some improvements of the previous model. I the future I would like that Rotel has a more transparent policy towards their valuable costumers.

From what I saw, the 1072 is also more expensive than the 1070. Also not much is known about the 1072, so you can make assumptions about it, buts they are just guesses.

But I agree, that sometimes its a mystery what they are doing at Rotel, however I think they've been very busy with the 1098 lately.

Actually, for cd players, I hope they make a succesor of the 991AE with the looks of the 1070
