Guys,
I went and purchased a copy of "The Eagles: Hell Freezes Over" DTS 5.1 Disc tonight. When I started playing it from my RDV-1040 to the 1056, the receiver would initially detect that it was to be played in DTS but then at random intervals, the receiver would drop the signal, and reset itself back to DTS. Its almost like for a second it decided that it wasn't a DTS signal. I have seen this behavior on other discs, and particularly with my Apple AirPort Express (Would go between surround and stereo). Is there a way to turn off this automatic detection, and force it to have me switch the modes, or simply a fix for this issue?
Any thoughts?
Brandon
