All you need to do is run two wires from the 1075 front left and surround left to the speaker. Then you need to Y the interconnection from your pre to the Front and Surround inputs on the 1075. Then do the same for the right. Then you will have the speakers bi-amped.

Bi-wired is running two different wires from the same connection on the amp to the two different connections on the speaker. You can either make one yourself, or but a true bi-wire speaker wire...

Not to split hairs, but true bi-amping would be to run an active crossover between the pre out and main in on the power amp. This seperates the high/ low frequencies so this is all each of the channels has to amplify b-4 driving the speakers. Thru this previously mentioned bi-amp configuration you still realy upon the passive components in the speakers crossover to pass/ dump the frequencies it is intended to deal with. In terms of overall efficiancy,(sound per pound if you will) active consumes less than passive.

Yes, soundhound is right, but most people don't use active crossovers, so this is all more a psuedo bi-amping.

          RSP-1068 and RMB-1075 power on
          by murali
          Hello Rotel owners,
New to the forum. Just bought a RSP-1068 and RMB-1075 combo with great expectations for HT (driving center, surround and rear speakers). A couple of doubts, please:
          (1) When I power on the RMB-1075, its LED on front plate is red and stays that way throughout though...

          1075 or 1085 paired with a 1068?
          by roscoe5250
          Hi,

I'm jumping up from a HK receiver to separates, so I know I'll be happy with either choice, but I'm freaking out over which amp to buy. I have an onix rockets surround setup for speakers.

I've read through a bunch of threads on here comparing the class A/B vs. D amps,...

A great site! This is my first post, and although I have been interested in stereo gear since the 1960's, my technical knowledge is limited.

I once owned two pair of KLH 9 Electrostatics driven by Marantz Model 9 amps, for those of you old enough to remember when you could get the ultimate...

VM6 vs FPM2 as rear surround speakers
          by goe2112
I'm looking into purchasing surround wall mounted speakers to complement my N804's and NHTM2 speakers. I'm not interested in investing into the SMCS rear speakers. My system will only be a 5.1 set-up . I checked the internet and from what I saw both models are approx. $450 each.

          I...

Ok so I have been on this site now for about 2 days straight, and i think im about ready to take my first steps into the world of speaker building. I think im going to build a set of Roman Bednarek's Microbes for starters, but only if they will work well as surround and rear speakers for my master surround...
