    Bittersweet end

I've graduated to an Arcam pre/pro. My RSP-1066 has served me faithfully for nearly exactly two years, so I'm kinda sad to move on. However, I will be keeping my name, and my Rotel amps will be staying put.

Ultimately, the 1066 is truly a high-value piece, a definite winner in my book.

    Will,

    Way to go man..

If you are going to step up from a RSP-1066 - then the Arcam AV8 is just a great way to do it...

    Enjoy...

    Now for those new speakers...

    and amps...

    and CD player

    and Arxam DVD

    and

    and

Very well said Geoff, this is appearing to be a hobby without limits...

But hey, it will keep you out of trouble and off the streets!

        Cheers,
        Keith

Yeah, this is my only vice, but a big vice it is! Let's see how long I can last, right, Geoff?

Changing my name doesn't feel right, Azeke. So do I have to?

              RSP1066 Vs RSP1068
              by wywong
              Hi,
I have an option of buying an RSP1066 or an RSP1068, the different in price is about $400. Can someone give me an opinion on whether it is worth the extra of $400 to get the RSP1068. I am currently using a Denon 3803 as a pre/processor and the RMB1075. Will this upgrade to the Rotel RSP1066...

              No subwoofer on RSP1066.
              by manini
              Hello,
When I connect my sub to de sub-out I have no sound out my subwoofer. It seems dead. I have my front's set to small, subwoofer to Yes in the menu.

The sub works fine on my old receiver, but on the rsp1066 it will not work.

I've bought the rsp1066 second hand....

              hi Guys

I purchased the Pioneer 989 avis universal player today and have some questions on connecting it to my rotel rsp1066/rmb1075 system

Firstly, I know I need to get 6 Analog cables for my Multichannel output on the Pioneer 989 to the Multichannel inputs of the RSP....

4 CD Players Compared Arcam, Consonance, Denon, Consonance.
              by cafad
Over the last 5 years I have, for various reasons, come into the possession of 4 different cd players (details below). Now I wouldn’t be a budding audiophile if the idea didn’t occur to me, eventually, to find out which one of them was the best. I googled each of them to get the technical specs,...

As a recent Arcam purchaser, I hope this is good news:

A Cambridge hi-fi and home cinema innovator, taking on and beating Japanese consumer electronics giants, plans to leverage its growing international reputation following a management buy-out.
