what do you mean by delayed?

i assume you mean there is a lip sync issue between the voices in your center channel compared to the video? if so, you need to adjust the delay until you get the voices matched up properly with the video.

if you mean the center channel is delayed compared to all the other channels then I would have to guess you need to adjust the distances appropriately in your speaker settings.

    hope this helps!

      Thanks for your quick reply,

I meant that compared to the other channels the center is delayed but in normel DTS or DD5.1 I don't have that problem

that's strange that it would only be in one channel on certain formats and not the others... i've never heard of that so hopefully some of the more experienced guys can give you some input on that one.

Just curious how, you are telling that it's delayed?

I guess more specifically, what disc are you using and what are your methods for determining that the center is .5 seconds off from the fronts?

I'm not doubting you, but I'm not aware of anything on a DTS disc that would play, for certain, the same thing at the same time on the center and fronts for you to be able to compare..

              Thanks,

              Kevin D.

I have recently watched Seven on DTS-ES, and had no problem at all

                  HI Eelco

It was the newest DVD off Marco Borsato There are two discs one with DD5.1 and one with DTS ES. The foice off the artist is coming through center and frontspeakers and I can hear that the center speaker comes later. Maybe when I set center to large that the problem will be solved.

                  Greetings

I'm building a new L/C/R setup. Anthologies are primary choice for L/R mains. I've read the Finalists Center ($509) is a great match. However, I'd like to reduce cost and have an open back center similar to the original Statements Center ($358). Would it be possible to have a center using (2) RS180,...

I have an A21 driving the fronts and an A51 for the center, surround and the newly added back speakers. I have a Sony DVP-CX777ES DVD player. I was watching...
