    Input labels

    I've read that the display for the various input sources for Rotel receivers and processors, can be custom labelled.

    Can anyone tell me what the maximum number of characters can be displayed/chosen?

          Glenn, I think the manual is downloadable from the Rotel website. Take a look at that

              I actually did try and download the user manual, but the large PDF file is too much for my poor computer, and it locks up when trying to view the file.

                  I have a RXS-1056 with it's oem RR-1050 remote. I have programmed my inputs and the 1056's LED displays my selections: DVD, DIRECTV, SAT, IPOD, PHONO.

                  I just upgraded my rsx-1055 to the latest version which is 2.30.
