    B&K Choice of finish

    All,
    I am in the process of getting reference 50 and av125.7, both colors (black/blueish and Silver) look great, most of my gears are black. Did anybody has opinion on which finish look better overtime? thanks...

      I went through the same process when I purchased my Anthem. In the end I went with silver because it just looked so different. I know silver is getting more common but I wanted my pre/pro to be the visual center of my hardware as well as the center of control. Silver made it stand out.

      The B&K is a beautiful unit (I really love it's of center design) and I think it looks great in both colors...but that silver is really impressive.

              I went with SIlver on my Ref 50 as well. My only reason was because I got such a great deal on an open box that just happened to be Silver. Now looking back, I am very glad I did get Silver. It looks awesome.

                  1550 top finish is speckled?

                  Just picked up a new 1550 Rotel silver.
                  The top cover of the receiver has a speckle pattern to the finish. It only appears on the top where the vents are. The sides are clean and smooth.
                  Is this normal? I'm not sure if part of the design or just a sloppy finish.
                  I'm not sure how...
