AVP status?

Any news on upgrades for the infamous AVP? It's been known for a while that Proceed has been very slow to bring updates. Just wondered if some of the much anticipated software is available yet, like 7 channel configuration...

Lets see, they did get the 96/24 release out, right? At least as I recall, I think they did.
Is the AVP a stagnant product at this stage, or are the updates to the "new model" coming at all? Like DTS EX/ES?

They've had 7 channel configuration for close to a year now.

The 96/24 support should be a big part of the new release that's due out any day now. Not sure what else will be in there.

Proceed is traditionally slow to offer new products and features, but almost always does an excellent job, so I'm willing to wait. I don't have a source that can deliver 96/24 to the preamp anyway, so support for that is largely moot for me.

I was told by Todd Sutherland of Madrigal that DTS EX/ES would be coming, as would DPL II. There is a new platform coming out later in the year (from what I can gather) that will either replace or supplement the AVP and/or the PAV, but he wouldn't give me much in the way of details other than current owners would get some sort of upgrade path.

I recently read where the upgrade to the AVP was going to be around $1500. I don't remember the details, must be getting old, and it won't be available until toward the end of the year. That's as much as I can recall.

Does anyone else have more info?
