    Firmware confirmation on DV-S939

I know that it´s not a real Integra Researsh machine ops:

But I try to ask in here about how do I do to see what firmware version I´ve got on my Onkyo Integra DV-S939 ?

And I also would like to come in contact with someone who has this DVD player.

Welcome to Club Integra and thanks for posting.

I understand why you are stumped on this one, since the Owner's Guide says nothing about it. (Onkyo apparantly only mentions anything about firmware in the manual if the unit is "upgradable" by the user .) Interestingly, various reviews say that if the firmware is set up properly, certain DVDs will play in a particular way, but offer no clue as to how to determine that. I hope someone who knows the answer will post it here, but it looks like this may be a question for Onkyo Customer Service.

I´ve noticed a problem with my DV-S939, some disc´s have disturbance in both sound and picture, it´s like when you have a weak signal from satelite TV, it blips and blops in the sound and the picture goes nuts.

Anyone who knows if this ?

        by Blakwing
Hello all.. I'm a newbie to these forums. I've read quite a bit here and you seem like the people to ask.

I'm facing a choice and I don't know which way to go.
Either get the Onkyo 801 or an Integra 6.5?
I've had little luck online comparing and even less luck with the...

        Integra vs Onkyo
        by headshrinker2
        Greetings everyone,
In the process of upgrading my HT system. There are some fabulous deals out there on AV Receivers.

Can anybody advise me on choosing between Integra and Onkyo? I am currently leaning towards purchasing either Integra 6.9 or Onkyo 706.

        Thanks...

From what I've read on several forums some Onkyo products are on backorder. I myself have ordered the Integra Research RDC-7 processor on January 3 and I'm still waiting for it. Other guys have reported that the Onkyo 898 and the Integra 9.1 receivers are also on backorder. I don't know if this has...
