    B&K Ref 50 "POP"

I'm new to the forum, so please bear with me if this has been discussed before.

I have a Ref 50 controling two ST125.2 amps with the 12vdc the I/O trigger.

When I shut off the Ref 50 I get a loud "pop" or "snap" through my speakers. If I manually turn off the amps first I get kind of a "PLOOP, PlOop, ploop" as (I guess) the capacitors bleed down.

My old ST140 is absolutely silent on start up and shut down. What's the problem with the new stuff?

    Bump.

Wow, this tread is over two months old and not a single response. There seems to be little, if any, interst in this forum. Guess it's time to bail.

Is your preamp running the latest updates?
