    Got my Halo A52!

Oh my goodness, this amp is unbelievable. My intention is not to offend owners of the Rotel 1075(which I used to own for a 9 or 10 months), but this Halo amp is just in a different league.

I hear these need quite a few hours on them to really open up, but it already has more clarity than Im used to. The instruments are much more seperated, the bass feels a bit more taught as well.

Possibly the best investment Ive made thus far. It mates well with the underrated Outlaw 950 pre/pro, and the amp adores my powered Def Tech speakers. 2 quick pics I took.....

Oh and Ignore the rack, its a mess behind it. Still moving shelves around so not quite finished...

Nice to hear you like the A52
I went through the same thing when I upgraded my RMB1075 to a Parasound HCA2205AT.
As you stated, midrange clarity, detail and especially bass went up several notches.
The Rotel poweramps aren't bad by a long shot, but they just belong in a different category, and are priced accordingly.

      Agreed. And Thanks.

I was worried I wouldnt notice a difference when I added the A52 into the mix...those worries were put to rest immediately :B

I'm pretty sure you'll experience the same thing when/if you unload the Outlaw for a C2.

thats what Ive been told by numerous people. It had better be an upgrade. a 4,000.00 controller versus a 800.00 one :E

Itll be worth it for the blue lights alone, lol :T

I was feeling the same way, with a Rotel RSX-1075 feeding my A52. I then upgraded to an Anthem AVM-20, and bang, HUGE improvement. Just amazing synergy between the units, and now using balanced connections (may not make any difference, but convenience and connection security are worth it) and the silver on silver looks great, althought the finish on the Parasound is nicer than the Anthem.

                Halo A51 or A52?
                by msasseville
                Hi there!
I am new here! And quiet happy to discover this forum because I am in the process of upgrading my system. I have an ARCAM avr 300 and I would like to get more punch and nuances while I am listening movies or Music. And I thought that adding and Halo A51 or A52 would be a great update,...

                Halo A52 XLR/RCA inputs question
                by suds1280
I finally pulled the trigger on purchasing an A52, and I wanted to ask a question, as I could not find the answer in the owner's manual. I wanted to see if I could have both RCA and XLR inputs connected on the A52. I know that there is a selector switch on the A52 as to what inputs to use, but will...

                Which Halo Amp Combo?
                by awtryau89
Okay I have a quick turn around here (tomorrow) so I may not get all the responses I need to help me, but here goes. I will be purchasing new pair of Halo amps and I am trying to decide which ones. I run NHT VR-3 mains crossed at 80hz with a VC-3 Center crossed at 80hz. The sides and rears are NHT VS-2.4s...

                A52 - will i be content?
                by TimRawson
Well, bit the bullet and ordered a A52 from local Parasound dealer.

Went through a Rotel 1056. Great unit, but wasn't completely satisfied - wasn't best match for my taste and speakers.

Decided go separates and hoping i can be happy for a while (frustrating to drop...

After all the research, decision making, and finance preparation I did, I've finally received my Halo equipment!

Please excuse the bad photos, as they are just preliminary! You have to look a little hard to see the lighting on the MX-700 remote in the dark...
