Discussion on classic Parasound equipment (before Halo)

Well, there's quite a lot of talking going on here about the new Halo equipment made by Parasound. But let's not forget that Parasound has consistently made some very, very good stuff long before the Halo line was introduced last year. I know many people here on the Guide own classic Parasound processors, amplifiers, and other equipment. I'd like to hear your thoughts and comments about your Parasound units. What all do you have, how long have you had it, and how do you like it?

Hi Chris,

Well, if the 1205A amp counts, that's what I use with my Rotel 1066 and I'm extremely impressed with its performance. Actually, when I got it to run off my Onkyo 696 receiver, it transformed my system. Gets hot and needs a lot of breathing room though.

Actually, Keith, the 1205A seems to be one of the better known and used classic Parasound amplifiers. I think you've got a winner there!
