    C2 and DTS question

Stupid question, but I can't seem to figure out how to get DTS sound from a DTS dvd when using the C2. It keeps locking on to a DD 5.1 signal or that's what it says on the screen.

    Can anybidy help?

    Thanks

Jon- The first thing I would ask is if you're sure the DVD player is putting out a DTS signal. Did you select DTS in the DVD menu? And how are you putting the DTS signal through to the processor, through optical or coaxial digital connectors?

It may just be a setup issue.

Thanks for the reply. As it turned out I did not select DTS on the Disc! at least I know nothing is wrong with my C2.

      Once again thanks again.

        Can't get DTS on C1
        by ericst
I just purchased a C1, and everything works fine except it does not pick up the DTS signal from my DVD player. I am playing a DTS movie set to DTS. The DVD player says it is outputing DTS 5.1. I have a 5.1 setup. There is just no sound. When I switch the DVD back to DD it works fine. The input...

        by chinets
        Hi Everyone,

The RVD 1050 loaner was working fine for the past several days with DTS and everyhting.
Now yesterday ,when I tried out a DVD, because...

        1055 and DTS question
        by Karri
I've had my 1055 for quite awhile now and recently added a centre and 2 fronts, so therefore I am now 5.1. I was wondering why when I watch a DVD in DTS all is quiet on the western front. I would probably say its happened since I've had the amp but thought it was due to my system being only 2.1. My...

        Question about DTS
        by duncanmccloud
If your DVD player does not have DTS decoding capablilities, but your receiver does, can you receive the DTS signal..... or do both the DVD player and A/V receiver have to be able to decode DTS in order to receive the signal? If this question has been answered my apologies.
        Thank You.

A 1080p DVD Player from NeoDigits
        by Azeke
        A review from Projector Central:

"NeoDigit calls the NeuNeo HVD2085 a "universal player". Taking them at face value, the player does seem to handle just about everything: DVD, SVCD, VCD, CD, HDCD, MP3, WMA, Photo-CD, CD-R, CD-RW, DVD+R, DVD–R, DVD+RW, DVD-RW and built-in...
