    Does A21 Invert Signal?

I have Infinity RS1Bs. I am using a Halo A21 for the woofers. The Infinity crossover needs to be set for inverting or non-inverting amplifiers. Does the A21 invert the signal? I can't see anything in the specifications that indicate such.

    Thanks.

Hello there, if you are using an active crossover on the woofer but not on the upper you may have phase issues betwwen the two. Also, if you are using balanced for the bottom end and sigle ended for the top...or vice versa you'll have some phase issues. You could always set your croosover phase to normal and reverse your speaker cables on either the amp or speaker itself.

No, not normally. However, if you are using balanced cables where the positive and negative are swapped, this will happen.

If you have a sound level meter and frequency test tones you can mearure the speaker level out put at your crossover point. Play test tones just below, at, and just above your crossover point. Now reverse your speaker wire and measure the level at the crossover point again.
One way or the other should be 1 to 3 db louder at the crossover frequency. You want the louder setting.

          Hi guys

Rel subs have a high level connection via the left + & - and the right + only at the speaker connections on the power amp. They also allow you to have this high level connection and a low level connection hooked up at the same time.

How do I do a high level...

Halo Amps - Auto Turn On W/ Audio Signal
          by Dave0604
I've just set up my new Halo amps, A51 and A21. I am using the A21 for the front left and right, and the A51 to round out my seven channels. I'd like to use the auto turn on via audio signal feature, but I'm finding that even with the sensitivity on the amps adjusted to highest sensitivity, they still...

          Acoustic Phase

Acoustic phase is a concept used to describe the relationship in time between two or more sound waves at a specific point in space. It represents the relative timing or alignment of the crests and troughs of the sound waves as they propagate through the air. In simple terms, the phase of a sound wave indicates where it is in its cycle at a given moment. A sound wave is a repeating pattern of compressions (areas of higher pressure) and rarefactions (areas of lower pressure)...

          Infinity power issue !

          Hey all,

My older Infinity sub (circa 2003) usually turns itself to an off/standby position when it has not received a signal for a period of time. Last night I noticed that it was basically not doing that and is stuck into a permanent 'ON' position. I tried turning it off for the night...
