My C2 is always breaking down

I have had my C2 for about 7 years now, had to have it repaired 4 times and it just went again after using it for 3 weeks after just being fixed (switches off by itself and sometimes has a clicking sound while on), it did sit in its box for 6 months and I just took it out again 3 weeks ago. I must have got a real lemon. Guess I have to get it fixed again.

I am in Canada and it gets sent to an authorized repair shop, should I just get the store to send back to Parasound in the US to fix it properly?

Hmm.... Sounds like the same power supply problem over and over again... At this point I would have them replace the PS board *and* the cables...

(Are they replacing the whole power supply board, or are they repairing it? If the latter is the case, then for sure tell them to replace the whole board. Repairing an obvious lemon over and over again will not do anything good...)

        RSX-1067 digital board
        by mitka
        Hi,

RSX-1067 developed horrendous electrostatic pops (thru speakers) that disappear in bypass mode.
From that I concluded that the issue is with digital board, part number PCB 016 E-1399C00.

Breaking with modern conventions - a highly musical 2-way system using an 8" woofer
        by theSven
        By Jon Hancock

This article will describe the fruits of my efforts to build a moderate sized speaker which might be moderately above average in performance for a basic two-way system. I desired a speaker like this both for my own use in secondary systems, and to fill a need for some friends, who desired fairly full range response (i.e., “it’s gotta have good bass”). Also, though I have access to a good wood shop, many potential DIY enthusiasts may not, so I hoped to use a modified...

        Breaking Router Bit
        by JonP
        Hi all...

I posted this over at PE as well, wanting to get a broad opinion from the woodworkers out there. Router safety is very important, and I want to learn the right procedures and habits... Some interesting info and comments came up there. I also found a link to a standards paper...
