prologic IIx with DTS

I am finally moving from 5.1 to 7.1. Does prologic IIx work with DTS? I read the C2 manual and it seems to work with DTS except DTS-ES? DTS-ES will work with THX Ultra Cinema (5.1 to 7.1) but I need to figure out the placement of my rears and dolby and thx placement is quite different. I am leanind towards the dolby placement which is further apart (thx places the rear speakers much closer)

I will basically watching dvds or blurays on my PS3.

Yes, it does. I really enjoy using DPLIIx with all audio formats. As far as how far apart to place the rear speakers, I also like using a slightly wider spacing for more channel separation and a more enveloping soundfield.

Thanks. Have you used tHx Ultra 2 cinema? How do you find this vs prologic IIx?

I have, yes, but these are two different processing formats. Matter of fact, I usually enjoy using them BOTH together. The DPL IIx extracts the audio signal into a 7.1 soundfield, and the THX processing equalizes the channels well for a smoother, deeper sound.
