No. The Parasound boys let me know they're not presenting anything at CES this year, although other companies are using their products in displays. We need to wait several months for the next news.

How is parasound doing? It has been so dead hear and at avs for so long, in regards to parasound news, it makes you wonder if they are still in business. We got the jc-2 and then all was quiet on the western front.Comment

Oh well,I am waiting for a new receiver and a new disc player from Parasound,hopefully to get the new HD audio and video formats.
But since we still have the "format" war going on I can wait.
And by the way,I have still not seen anything new from the other Hi end firms,so It looks like everybody is waiting for the moment :Z
And I am broke :E I did just buy a pair of JBL K2 S9800 so my JC1's could get something big to work on :T

I do not know yet
Delivery will be late next week if everything works out,it takes time when you live out in the wilderness. :T
But I got a mindblowing session at the dealer after an hour with the JBL Everest !!(way to expencive for me) the K2's where set up with a pair of McIntosh MC2KW (x2 !!) I could not find anything wrong with the sound and I got a price on them that I could not say no to :roll:Comment

Dang... I really tried to go to CES this year. I have event tickets and everything. Unfortunately, couldn't make it happen, and instead I'm actually at the very tip of the Aleutian Islands in Alaska right now.

Dang it... looks like CES will be rather non-eventful for Parasound. I just got this notice today from Parasound's official public relations:
