    odd stutter in my D3

Have any of the other D3 owners had this problem? I've been getting a rhythmic stutter (every 3 seconds or so) when I play movies. The machine checks out ok, but I see the stutter on every tv and monitor I own. I'm also having lip sync issues. I do not presently use a processor. I use a straight signal path of either HDMI or component to the monitor. Any suggestions?

    Hi Mark,

Sorry to hear the problem with the D3. To be honest, not many of us Club Halo guys own a D3 (I might buy one, but that is another story). You will do well if you expand your request for help to other forums not limited to Halo gear and see if anyone has had that kind of problem with other mfgs.

When the D3 stutters, can you hear it through the audio or by placing your ear close to the machine? Does it stutter on CDs as well? Does it stutter only after playing a certain amount of time or is it more random? Have you called Parasound service? Please keep us posted on the progress!!! Hope you can get it resolved soon.

When playing DVD's with a DTS soundtrack the picture stutters and jerks. This problem Is not consistant as some DTS disks are ok. and the problem DVD's stutter at random. (when playing the same scene the problem Is there but not In the same place). DD DVD's are OK, I have tried R1 and R2 DVD's.

          by NMyTree
I recently received my Odyssey Tempest Extreme Pre Amp and the Eastern Electric Minimax Tube CD Player.

So finally I was able to hook up my Halo A21 with a quality Pre Amp and CD Player (and the Odyssey Nightingales speakers).

Well, after burning these components in for...

problem with Alison Krauss SACD w/Denon 2900/Rotel 1098
          by daidavel
I just received the Alison Krauss & Union Station Live SACD set from Amazon.com. This is my first SACD, and I don't have others on hand to test with. I'm playing the discs in a Denon 2900 going to the multi-inputs of a Rotel 1098. The problem is the last 2 tracks on each disc stutter and break...

Parasound Halo A51 5th Channel Problem.
          by mitch57
Well it looks like my Halo A51 Amp's 5th channel is on it's way out. I started noticing the the 5th channel, which is the surround right channel, didn't seem to have much of a signal. I first noticed it while listening to DVD-A and multi channel SACDs. It just didn't seem like I was hearing much...

          Audio cutout issues w/Halo?
          by netarc
I've had (and loved) my Halo C2 for several months now ... wonderful piece of equipment ... but I _have_ noticed one *bad* (albeit rare) bug; before reporting it to Parasound, I thought I'd post here to see if anyone *else* has experienced this issue?

First, my setup: Halo C2 feeding...
