    Biwiring to terminals on A51

I heard biwiring to amp must be done cleanly and carefully,
Who has good photos on how this is done?

The WBT-0645R and WBT-0645W insulated banana plugs are ideal for this purpose.

    See this thread for pictures.

Of course, but that part should pose no problems other than deciding which cable to use. Most of the big cable brands have a cable like that. You literally have hundreds of cables to choose from.

The tricky issue is how to attach the biwire to the tightly arranged terminals of the A51 - especially if the A51 is installed in a tight rack. Using spades is difficult due to the way the A51 terminals are laid out, which is why I recommend the locking bananas. The WBT angled ones are great if you need to stack the connectors or if you don't have much space to spare on the back.

You could for instance get the Cattails Bi-Wires that the sponsor of this forum is selling. If you have plenty of space (4" or more) behind your A51, you can use these as-is. If space is tight, you can order them with WBT 0645 angled connectors. Kudos to Cat Cables for offering WBT connectors as an option! I love the WBT connectors and recommend them wholeheartedly.

I too use WBT-like connectors on CAT Cables... you can see my pics in the Parasound pictures thread. I don't Bi-wire, though. I probably should switch to WBT.

Well, we're safe for now. Thank goodness we're in a bowling alley.

Maybe a really dumb question: why double speaker terminals for 1080
              by tboooe
Hi, I was wondering why each channel of the rb1080 has double terminals? Is this to facilitate biwiring?

              biwiring B&W speakers....?
              by BlazeMaster
Hi, I've had my 600s series for a while and just noticed something today on the websites user manual section. I had them birwired since this June and just noticed the part where they showed that the gold bars or links that connect the post should be removed when biwiring. I've had my linked for about...

Biwiring Your B&W's - worth it?
              by Karma
              HI All,
I'm just curious how many of us have biwired our systems. Those who have done so, what are your conclusions?

My system, with 805S's and HTM4S in the front are biwired. These are only the second set of speakers I have owned that permit biwiring. The first were Apogee Calipers...

              A51 transformer hum...Need power conditioner?
              by jeweltone2002
              Hi,

I recently purchased the A51, and I am getting a hum from the transformer. The hum comes directly from the A51 unit and not through the speaker (it's not a ground loop problem). I send the A51 back to Parasound for repair and they replaced the transformer (very good technical support...

              Parasound C2 with the A52 or A51 or 1205A ???
              by john4618
I'm getting a Parasound C2 and want to know which amp to use, the A51 at 250 watts RMS x 5 –or- the A52 at 125 watts RMS x 5 –or- should I just use my 1205A that I already have ???

I can't demo these so I have some questions:

              1. I’m told that my 1205A is a little...
