    C2 arrives Today!!

Well forum members, I finally pulled the plug and have a UPS truck driving around town with my Parasound C2 on board. It will be mated with (2) A21's and (2) A23's. All Paradigm studio reference around (100's ver 3 for the mains). Can't wait to hook it up tonight. Will give you my 2 cents after about a week of tweaking.

I think you will be pleasantly surprised with the extremely clean signal the C2 will provide, which will promote a very healthy bottom end with great slam.

    Good Luck.

Great choice of components there, phannson. I'm just curious though - why did you end up getting 2 A21's, and 2 A23's?

The initial plan was to eventually upgrade to JC 1's across the front and move the A21's to the rear. That is a question that I get asked all to often.

That's interesting. I want a processor with a healthy bottom end, as you put it. Can you compare it to any other processors that you have used?

I'm about 90% sold on getting the C2.

To summarize my review of the C2 vs. my old Sony TAE-9000ES, the bottom end was so much tighter and cleaner that I couldn't make my subs bottom out where as before they often would with known material. This as well as the midbass punch was clearly superior, so much so that I couldn't believe that a processor could make that much difference, it seemed logical that it passes a much cleaner and resolute signal as nothing else in my system had changed.

That is definitely one of the biggest benefits when going from a top of the line piece from Pioneer, Sony, Denon, Marantz, Yamaha, etc. to the Halo C1/C2.

Nvidia has released a new set of Nforce 2 drivers. The drivers are WHQL certified (if that means anything  ) It doesn't look like the new IDE drivers are ready as of yet, which is a major drag as I'm still getting some strange drive/explorer issues from time to time. Regardless I'll be installing...

the First version came out nice, but I never finished it. I made some mis-calculations with the volume.

this next version will be piano red finish.

                  the Peerless woofer is recessed.

Dear Rotelians, I need again your help.

After five months of use, my RDV-1060 stopped reading any disks.

I sent it to the Spanish distributor through my local dealer and they have agreed to replace it for a new one, but I just want to make sure the new unit brings the latest...
