Anyone know if Parasound are making, or planning to make, DVD or CD players in the HALO product line? If they are planning to make these, anyone know when the will be released?

Yes they are still working on a Halo DVD player, alas it is not clear when this thing will be available. Many people are waiting for this player.
Personally I wish that Parasound would also release a dedicated Halo (SA-)CD player. I would buy one if it was any good. 8) Unfortunately there are no plans that I know of that they are working on such a thing. But maybe they will surprise us, you never know ...
I sent an e-mail to Parasound some time ago in which I suggested the release of a CD player but did not receive a reply. -
jonia, you just hit one of the two major discussion topics for Parasound enthusiasts.
More than likely, if/when a DVD player comes out, it will be universal. Right now, I wouldn't be surprised if it comes out as one of the first HD DVD players.
