I'd check the hitchhiker's guide to meridian site (google: hitchhiker meridian).
I believe Meridian 500 series use to use a proprietly link (mhr?) to transmit dvd-a. Not sure if that has changed for the G series.
I'm a meridian on the HT side (family room), love their stuff.
Halo on the 2 channel side (living room - aka, adult room)...- Bottom
