    How Do You Turn This Damn Thing Off?!?!?!!?!?

    I got a ZAMP Version 1 for my computer system. The thing is it constantly detects an audio signal for my computer, so the Auto On keeps the amp on. This is a problem since the power switch doesn't override the Auto On feature, and there's no switch to disable it like there is on V2/V3 models...

    Solutions anyone?

      Yikes, Drew, I think you're the first ZAmp owner here in Club Parasound. (congrats, BTW) :banana: If you're not able to turn it off, do you have any real negative effects just leaving it on all time time, besides the power draw?

          If you have to turn it off you can put it on a 6-stip with a switch to kill the power. I bet that will turn it off

              Actually, this signal detection thing works better than I thought it would. I just mute my computer and within 60 seconds the amp turns off. If I unmute the computer and start playing something, it takes only about 1-2 seconds for the amp to fire up and start making noise. This is a fantastic little toy.

                      How true how true, however I sniped this one off eBay for only a bill. I've gone separates...with my PC!
