    B&W AS1

Was at the local B&W dealer today, and picked up a B&W AS1 subwoofer for my office. So far I have mixed feelings about the subwoofer. At $250, it is not bad, but almost wish it had an 8" in it. Does anyone have any experience or comments about it? Any suggestions on any other subs to try out?

I am a B & W dreamer. I bought my first pair at the age of 17 and have never looked back. I don't have loads of money to spend on my system, but I will say that I recently purchased an ASW 300 sub and I'm very happy with it. I was looking at the AS1 myself at first because of the lower cost, but after a couple visits to the dealer I felt the ASW 300 was worth the extra money. Maybe you should contact your dealer about a possible upgrade. Its worth the extra $100 dollars or so.

ASW 850 sub or ASW 825 sub to go with 803D?
      by Sonic-x
I have recently bought a pair of 803Ds, and I would like to add a subwoofer to go with my 2-channel home cinema.

My local dealer has offered me a demo used ASW 850 for appr. $ 2600. Is this a good deal, or should I go for the ASW 825 which I may get for appr. $2800 from the same dealer....

B&W ASW 750 vs Velodyne SPL 1200 II
      by Ted
Greetings B & W great-ones. As I have been in the process of switching my HT from Klipsch to a B & W CM7/CM-C based system, I've been wondering about also switching out my Velodyne SPL 1200 II for a B & W ASW 750.

My reasons for doing so are purely aesthetic. I love the...
