I have owned the following and have been very unimpressed with these subwoofers:
ASW500 = 3/10 stars. Sounds like a bird flapping in the wind when turned up
ASW650 = 7/10 stars. Pretty musical but my Velodyne CT100 from 1999 sounds just as good
ASW675 = 6/10 stars. Somewhat musical but not justifiable for the price.
ASW610 = 5/10 stars. I believe this is the current model offered by B&W and this sub just does not have much punch when turned up with my B&W 684's. It barely sounds like a sub is present.
Why can't B&W just make a good subwoofer like Velodyne and why does B&W only make 10 inch woofers now? 12 inchers seem to go much lower in frequency and sound better.
