Well I'll bite on this. These speakers look great! My first feeling about them is that I would suspect that the midrange driver was replaced but I could be wrong. Why would the mid be a different color??!!. How do they sound would be my biggest question? Why would you replace the 'damping' ??Dan Madden :T- Bottom

Yvan, your mid-range unit is a MW150 and not a MR150. Nevertheless since you are located in Brussels, contact :

A midrange driver is a loudspeaker driver designed to reproduce midrange frequencies in an audio system. It is responsible for bridging the gap of frequencies between the bass and treble ranges, typically from around 300 Hz to 2000 Hz, depending on the specific design, tweeter and woofer choice, and crossover points.
Design criteria for midrange drivers:- Frequency Range: Midrange drivers are designed to cover the midrange frequency band with clarity and accuracy.

by Jacques54Hello all,
My apologies if this isn't the right forum to discuss this, I'm new to HTG.
One of my pair of faithfull DM6 (bought back in 1976 or was it 1977) has a dead woofer. The B&W dealer tells me to forget about them, parts are not available anymore, etc.
