unknowed version of my DM6...
I have a pair of DM6 speakers with the original components,but i don't find this version!The midrange is brown orange and the tweeter is not round but rectangular,the are from 21 may 1976,lol;What is this version?I would replace the damping foam...but don't find this version...Someone knows these??![Click image for larger version

Well I'll bite on this. These speakers look great! My first feeling about them is that I would suspect that the midrange driver was replaced but I could be wrong. Why would the mid be a different color??!!. How do they sound would be my biggest question? Why would you replace the 'damping' ??Dan Madden :TComment

Please go to the B&W product archive and check the documentation of the DM6. Is the mid-range unit of your DM6 a MR 150 ?Comment

Hello, I'm trying to restore a pair of old Bowers & Wilkins DM6 speakers, they are missing the original tweeters. While I have working alternative tweeters in place, I would like to find out if there's anyone out there still owns these and might sell them to me!

My apologies if this isn't the right forum to discuss this, I'm new to HTG.
One of my pair of faithfull DM6 (bought back in 1976 or was it 1977) has a dead woofer. The B&W dealer tells me to forget about them, parts are not available anymore, etc.
