I am debating purchasing DM5 or DM6 but cannot find any listed. If I locate them how much should I offer?

Why would you want to buy 30 year old speakers ?
Are you a collector of some kind maybe ?
You should get a white DM6, in that colour they really do justice to their nickname "Pregnant penguin"
I have no idea what they're worth though, and I suspect they won't be in such great shape either if you find a pair but maybe you can still get new parts for them from B&W. -
I have a pair of DM5s that I inherited from my uncle, dated 1976 - and they're beautiful. Lovely wood, very solidly made, and they sound good too. My trouble is that one of the tweeters has gone, and I need a replacement - so if you find anyone with any spares, let me know.Comment

My apologies if this isn't the right forum to discuss this, I'm new to HTG.
One of my pair of faithfull DM6 (bought back in 1976 or was it 1977) has a dead woofer. The B&W dealer tells me to forget about them, parts are not available anymore, etc.

I have a pair of DM6 speakers with the original components,but i don't find this version!The midrange is brown orange and the tweeter is not round but rectangular,the are from 21 may 1976,lol;What is this version?I would replace the damping foam...but don't find this version...Someone knows these??... -
Hello, I'm trying to restore a pair of old Bowers & Wilkins DM6 speakers, they are missing the original tweeters. While I have working alternative tweeters in place, I would like to find out if there's anyone out there still owns these and might sell them to me!
