Hi ,there is notable diference between the b&w 601 main to 602 serie 2 or 3 ? I have the b&w 601 main . Or another close better sugestion ? Iam new at site so be patient . Paulo thanks in advanced

Yes I think there is a nice difference. Is it earth shattering will blow your mind type of a difference?!!? No. Is it better, yes. I personally think the Series 3 is a great set of speakers across the line for their price.
Are you able to get these, is that why you've decided to upgrade... have you seen the Series 4 (newer 68x ones)?!!? Those are pretty darn good as well... much more focused and detailed, though lacking slightly in the bass department over the Series 3.Digital Audio makes me Happy.

A year or so ago I auditioned the previous generation of B&W 800S series speakers (non-diamonds) and thought they sounded fabulous. Smooth, warm, inviting, etc. you name it. They were way over my budget so it wasn't a "serious" audition, but it was nice of my dealer to allow a listen.... -

I initially decided to go with 601 S3 with LCR60 center but I figured afford just a bit more for better sound. This then became a dilema.
So I decided to step up to the 603 S3 floorstands. These however are better matched with the larger LCR600 centers.
