kevlar midrange fixation nut factory setting torque???tension??? help!

    hello everyone
i am a newcomer of the b&w diamond series
and i found that at the back of the midrange there is an aluminium one slotted screw which fixes kevlar mid
the question is what is the exact tension should be applied to kevlar mid?
should i fasten tight with coin or should i fasten only a minor friction can be feeled with my fingers?
i think some one should have the same question as me
right now i have fastened with a little protrusion of the one slotted screw out of the aluminium ring which surrounds the nut
because when i fastened too tight the sound became too solid
does anyone has some know-how please share with me
    thanx bye~

      Is Kevlar holding B&W back?
      by bigburner
I was talking to an ex-B&W owner today. He believes that these days there are better materials than Kevlar with which to build mid-range drivers, e.g. carbon fibre and modern plastics, but B&W can’t use these materials because Kevlar is now so integral to their brand.

      Question about a Kevlar cone
      by SQdude
A certain manufacture is famous for using yellow Kevlar cones with a totally flat surround housed in a sphere. I'm curious is the general break-up characteristic of Kevlar (what freq does this material fall apart at)? Also, with a flat surround, how much xmax do you really think they are getting out...

150mm (6”) Kevlar cone FST midrange: Do they all run on the same frequency?
      by nick.h
      Hi,

I have noticed the 804s/803s/803d/802d/801d/800d all use the 150mm (6”) Kevlar cone FST midrange driver. Are the crossover for this all set to be the same? Do they all run in the same range?

What about the 805s the 6.5" Kevlar, what frequency does it run at?...

      kevlar midrange "Quack"
      by Relentless
I check out Higherfi.com often to see things I will never afford, but they have heard some of the most expensive speakers made and they have a section where they rate the speakers they have listened to. The 800D has a B- grade and I think the best rating they gave to a speaker is a B. They have comments...
