    DS6 Bipole as surround

    Hi guys,

Will like some comment on having DS6 as surround in HT 5.1 setup. I am currently using the CM8 and CMC in my 5.1 setup. I will to replace my current surround speaker which is pioneer bookshelf speaker to B&W DS6. Will this be a good choice ? My room size is 2 meters by 3.5meters.

I have them in my setup, series 3 matching my other series 3 speakers. Since all of mine are the same they work wonderfully together. Not sure if the tweeter is the same as the CM-8 but they would certainly mate better than the current Pioneers you are using. If you do go down this road post your impressions as I am looking to "upgrade" my mains someday in the future. Would really like something in the 800 series however I then would also have to replace the center to get a matched sound stage.

Dipole Surround Speaker Design Help Please
        by rickp15
I am wanting to build 2, (dipole/bipole?) surround speakers for my HT room (side wall mounted). My question is should build a V design like Klipsch and others make or would it be better to have the speakers firing directly at the front and rear walls?

I am also building rear wall monopole...

        Attention: Current DS6/DS3 Owners
        by audioqueso
Just trying to get some feedback on those that currently own the B&W DS6/DS3 surround speakers. If you don't mind, could you please answer the following questions:

        Surround speakers
        by Dr C
Hi guys - got a coupla questions for ya :

        1. For your surround speakers, do you favour dipole or bipole speakers ?

        2. I'm under the impression that dipoles are good provided you have the walls that the sound can bounce off or else it's no use.

        3. As for...
