    ASW 855/825 vs ISW-4(2)

Ok other question regarding the use of a subwoofer in a dedicated home theatre.

    What would give best results?

Using 1 ASW 855/825 wich i would use in the THX baffle wall or using 2 ISW-4 inwall subwoofers in opposing walls?

    Any help would be appriciated!

      Thanks for the reply.

I see you are from Belgium just like me

So you get best results with the ASW 855. Do you mean with the 2 of them?

My dedicated room will be 18m², do you think 1 would do?

ASW 850 sub or ASW 825 sub to go with 803D?
        by Sonic-x
I have recently bought a pair of 803Ds, and I would like to add a subwoofer to go with my 2-channel home cinema.

My local dealer has offered me a demo used ASW 850 for appr. $ 2600. Is this a good deal, or should I go for the ASW 825 which I may get for appr. $2800 from the same dealer....

        1x ASW-825 or 2x PV1
        by george_k
Both options sell for roughly the same cost give or take a couple hundred.

From a surface area perspective 2x PV1's have almost twice the radiating surface area over the 825. I'd imagine though that the 825 can probably hit the lower frequencies with more authority.

        That...

I think there needs to be a sticky thread showing this history of the 800 series pricing. Now I dont remember or have all the models/prices/dates so feel free to contribute. If I am wrong, feel free to correct me. I will start with the Nautilus series.

        ASW 855 vs ASW 875?
        by Juan Cortez
I am trying to decide wheather the extra $$$$ is worth getting the ASW 875 over the ASW855. Should I just save my money and get the ASW 855? Is there really much difference between the 2 subs besides the DSP room correction that the ASW 875 has.

        Thanks
