Height: 1135mm (44.7in) (not including feet)
Width: 368mm (14.5in)
Depth: 563mm (22.2in)
Anything smaller than that and the speakers won't fit. :P
You should have a half decent sized room.....but that's not to say you can't get them to sound good in a room that's small with some treatment to the room.
I'd say you should sit about 8ft from the speakers min though.Digital Audio makes me Happy.

I have 802D's in an 11 X 16 foot room. They sounded good with minimal acoustic treatments. I now have a lot more acoustic treatments and the 802D's are awesome.
