How closely voice matched is the B&W LCR-60 to the B&W 604 S3's?

They have the same tweeter but after that they are not in the same league. The 604 is a full size/full range heavy weight speaker and the LCR 60 is a fighting welter weight. They will work together but if you are looking in that range go for the LCR 600 or move up a notch to the CMC2. I have the LCR 60 and it was great when used with older Mirage 650 but when I upgraded to a pair of 703's, it is clear where it is missing, in time I am moving to the HTM series but have not won the lottery yet. If you go with it I think you will see a whole in your soundstage.

When I purchased my B & W's my retailer tried to sell me the LCR-60, I made the decision to upgrade to the LCR 600 as it is almost a perfect mate to my 603 s3 and would be the same for your 604 s3. They also wanted me to buy those speakers but I opted for the lesser not really hearing any difference between the two when I auditioned them. In fact, at the time I really preferred the 603's. Today, well hind sight says I should have gone with the 604's but no regrets, dual subs more than make up for the less bass.Sony Bravia OLED A1E 55"

I am in the process of building my theater, and now I need to decide what speakers to use for the LCR.
I am planning on an Acoustically Transparent screen, with the LCR speakers mounted in the wall behind. There just isn't room to do it any other way as the room is not wide enough.... -

I've listened to the 604's and the 703's. The 703's sound much better to my ear, however, the 604's are very good. To me, the 604's sound better than the Energy C-9's (a former option).
