... could someone with the 800 Diamond please measure the length and width of the base of the speaker, please? The info that I have tells me the speaker is 17.5"Wide by 25.5"Deep - but I don't know if they are talking about the base or the speaker.

I can measure it when I get home on Tuesday. OTOH, I asked that same question about 6-8 months ago on this forum and got an answer, so you might find it with a little searching.

So, the plynt is 17.72" x 25.39", but I would recommend a bit space around them as well..

                  Skyblue...

do you mean the space from the back wall, side wall, stuff between or around the speakers.

When they say, speakers "2' from the back wall", do they mean 2' from the back wall to the back of the speaker? or 2' from the back wall to the front of the speaker?

                        Hello,
I'm new to the forum and would like some advise on which B&W center speaker would best match the new 804 diamonds. My choices are the HTM3s, new HTM4-diamond, or the new HTM2-diamond. It seems that the HTM3s may be a good match based on the configuration (3-way) and equivalent size...

Hi everyone! It's been a while. I parted with my 802Ds half a year ago, since my Mac 6900 never did them any justice and they never got to sing in my system. Since then I uprgaded my electronics to all top of the line Electrocompaniet system - EMC-1 UP Cd player, 4.8 pre and NEMO monoblocks but instead...

It is interesting to note that the 800 Diamond was awarded 104 points. It's predecessor, the 800D, was awarded 101 points when it was reviewed at this same site in May 2005.
