Threaded inserts on bottom of B&Ws - what size?

Ok, I haven't readily found the thread profile information that's on the bottom of several model B&W speakers. I've tried a number of different screws without success:
    1/4"-20 - no
    1/4"-28 - no
    M6 - no

So, who here knows what thread size is in the bottom of B&W's? I've specifically got the HTM2D, but it should be the same for the HTM3S, 805S, 805Di and their various surround speakers.

    Ok, from B&W USA support...
    M6x10mm with a thread pitch of 1.

The M6 I tried must have had an issue.

      Threaded Inserts?
      by Steve Manning
With recent discussions about threaded inserts, I figured I pass along some information to ponder. I'm sure this is not unknown to many of you, though some may find it interesting. The idea is using threaded inserts might not be the best option?

I've attached a couple of videos that will

      Threaded insert-best practice?
      by LuncHwagon
I'm building some mini statements, and due to my construction, I dont have good access to the inside of the baffle. I'm thinking that for the speaker mounting, I'm going to use threaded inserts rather than any kind of T-nut/hurricane nut, etc. I'm taking feedback on both:

      Large Threaded Inserts
      by technodanvan
Good morning! I'm trying to source some very large threaded inserts, 1/2-13 or even 3/4-10 threads. Any ideas where such a thing might be found? EZ-Lok makes some but they're intended for metal. I thought about grabbing a couple and testing them but I imagine they don't cut their own threads well (they're...

      Hey everyone,

First post...I really need some reassurrance before I start my subwoofer project...I'm a fledgling DIYer...I can start as soon as I can nail down a 10" driver and a box size.
